D-Pal Club provides the framework for our Thai scholarship program in accordance with the working process of the Education for Development Foundation (EDF), our affiliate of the Darunee Scholarship Fund which possesses more than 20 years experience in scholarship programs in a total of 19 provinces in Northeast Thailand.

The working process of our D-Pal scholarship program in Nong Khai Province, our target area in Northeast Thailand, is designed to ensure that your team’s scholarship contributions transparently reaches your scholarship student in need. This is accomplished via the voluntary cooperation from our tireless provincial committee, appointed by the officer of the Education Services Area Office in the province with direction and supervision from the EDF.

EDF allots the scholarship quotas expected to be provided each year to the Provincial Committee.
The Provincial committee allots the scholarship quota to schools in need in the remote poverty areas.
The selected schools nominate the neediest students for scholarship funding to continue Junior High school as candidates.
The Guidance Teacher in each school verifies the qualifications of the nominated students.
The nominated students submit their application forms to EDF
EDF verifies the application form and performs random field surveys to schools and applicants’ homes to cross check the qualifications with cooperation from provincial committees and schools.

After the applicant students are approved to be awarded with D-Pal scholarships, they have to open a bank savingS account, which can be withdrawn from for schooling purposes only with the co-signature of their guidance teacher.
The EDF transfers the total scholarship amount to be provided for scholarship students in the targeted province to the provincial screening committee together with the scholarship reports under the supervision of the Educational Service Area office.
The provincial committee has to send the financial report to the EDF to verify that all scholarships have been transferred to D-Pal scholarship schools.
D-Pal scholarship schools receive the scholarship amount from the provincial committee and deposit it in the saving accounts of D-Pal scholarship students.
D-Pal scholarships schools send EDF the financial report and copies of students’ saving accounts showing the amount of scholarship received.
