In remote areas of Nong Khai Province, Thailand and Khammoune Province, Laos PDR, provinces ranked among poor regions in Thailand and Laos PDR, education is the key factor in helping children to break the cycle of poverty.
By cooperating with EDF and MCL, NGOs experienced in scholarship programs for many years, D-Pal Club is mobilizing generous, international contributors via Internet to support the education of underprivileged children in these areas and to provide the gift of hope for future generations.
The special feature of the D-pal Club Scholarship Program is that you will be able to experience international friendship among your donor team members -- a team of four donors matched by D-Pal Club – anytime/anywhere as you login in to our website and communicate with your team or monitor the progress of your D-pal scholar on-line.
After registering by clicking on the Donate now button and making a secure contribution of US$ 50 by credit card, you will receive a welcome e-mail with your confirmed access password to login to the D-pal Club system, as well as a link to D-Pal Club website.
- By August, you will receive an e-mail report informing you of the random matching of your donor team of 4 people and your team’s scholarship student.
- Each member of the donor team will receive updated profiles and progress reports about the scholarship student you are supporting, including the student’s picture through the login page for 3 years.
- You can always exchange opinions and concerns with your team members by email or with other teams through our D-pal Forum.
- You will receive updates of our activities and information about your student’s countries via our electronic newsletter on the D-Pal Club website 3 times a year.
At regular intervals, you will be sent an email reminder to visit the site for updates.
