Darunee Scholarship Fund was founded in 1987 on the belief that education is one of the most important factors to stop the cycle of poverty faced by children and people in many developing countries of Asia. Our mission is to help those children living in dire poverty, but who strongly desire to develop themselves through higher education.

Through the generous contributions of international donors, we provide needy children with scholarships to increase their physical and educational capacity and become valuable self-sustaining adults.
The 5 member organizations of the Darunee Scholarship Fund in Thailand, Japan, Laos, Cambodia, and Afghanistan believe we can achieve great impact in addressing issues of poverty and education through global collective efforts.
Over 20 years the member organizations of the Darunee Scholarship Fund have played an active role in the field of educational development and poverty reduction.
